How to Set Up Hotmail on an HTC Evo

Setting up your Hotmail account on your HTC Evo gives you easy access to your emails even when you are away from your computer. After email setup, you will be able to send and receive emails directly from your phone from anywhere within your mobile carrier's network. Email will be accessible with a simple tap. The phone's email wizard will guide you through setting up the Hotmail account and other email accounts on your phone.


Instructions

1 Press the HTC Evo's "Home" and tap "Mail."

2 Tap "Other" and enter your Hotmail email address and password in the appropriate fields. Double-check your password entry by checking the "Show Password" box. Tap "Next."

3 Enter an identifying name for your Hotmail account and the way you want your name to appear in the appropriate fields. Tap "Finish Setup."

Tips & Warnings

If other email accounts are set up on the Evo before setting up the Hotmail account, tap "Mail" and select "New Account." Enter your Hotmail account information and complete setup.
