How to Make a Bootable Wii Disc

The Nintendo Wii can use backup ISO files just like many other home video game consoles. Burning an ISO file to a disc to make it bootable on the Nintendo Wii is simple and can be done with a few different programs. Making bootable Wii backups will help you save your Wii discs from getting scratched.

Instructions

Things You'll Need

  •  ISO-burning software
  •  Blank DVD

1
Download and install one of the programs from the Resource section of this guide. All of these programs are either free or offer a free trial. Insert a blank DVD into your computer's optical drive.

2
Open Imgburn and click "Write image file to disc." Click the "Source" button, and a window will appear. Select your Wii ISO file and click "OK." Click the green arrow to begin the burn process.

3
Open Nero and click "Data Burning." Click "Source Drive" and "Image File" from the menu that appears. Click "Browse" and select your Wii ISO file. Click "Burn," and the Wii ISO file will be burned to the DVD.
