How to Connect an iPhone to a Wii Console Remote

Due to 2010 advances in iPhone and Wii system programming it is now possible to link the iPhone and Wii remote. When you do, the movements you make with the remote are reflected in 3D format on the iPhone or iPod. In order to link the two devices your iPhone or iPod must be jailbroken.



Instructions

Turn on the iPhone and Wii console.

Open the Cydia app on the iPhone. Press the search button.

Wait for Cydia to detect the remote.

Initiate installation of the "WiiMote OpenGL-ES Demo" app. Wait for installation to complete. Run the app.

Pick up your Wii remote. Press the "1" and "2" buttons simultaneously. Wait for the remote to connect. The blue buttons will flash while it is connecting.

Move the Wii remote around. Your movements will be mirrored on the iPhone.
