How to Customize a Logitech PS3 Mediaboard for Mac OS X


The Logitech Cordless MediaBoard Pro PS3 keyboard is a Bluetooth keyboard designed to be used the PlayStation 3 game console. Through the keyboard is designed for use the PS3, it is still a standard Bluetooth keyboard that can be used with any Bluetooth-enabled computer. If you want to use the Logitech MediaBoard PS3 keyboard with a Mac OS X computer, you can do so through the System Preferences menu without customizing or altering the device in any way.


Instructions


  1. Slide the power switch in the upper right corner of the Logitech MediaBoard keyboard into the "ON" position.
  2. Click the "Apple" icon in the computer's menu bar and select the "System Preferences..." option.
  3.  Click the "Keyboard" option beneath the "View" heading. Click the "Set Up Bluetooth Keyboard ..." button to launch the Bluetooth Setup Assistant application.
  4. Select the Logitech MediaBoard keyboard when prompted and follow the onscreen instructions to start the pairing process.
  5. Type the eight-digit code displayed in the Bluetooth Setup Assistant window on the Logitech MediaBoard keyboard and press the "Enter" key. The keyboard is now ready to use with the Mac OS X computer.
